Who to tell when you change your name

Each asks for your Deed Poll, so they go one at a time.

• HM Passport OfficeThe original, with one document in your new name
• DVLA: driving licenceForm D1 from a Post Office; send the original
• DVLA: vehicle log book (V5C)If a vehicle is registered to you
• UK Visas and Immigration (eVisa)If you have an eVisa; update your UKVI account

Money

Banks and lenders are the strictest, and most keep a certified copy.
